Conference
Overview
Rapid economic growth in developing economies has impacted the energy landscape causing extreme changes. These changes have resulted in increased demand for existing sources of energy, raising prices for these resources and affecting supply and demand in the marketplace. Many electric generators have the capacity to switch between fuels to meet the energy needs of their customers. Fuel switching capabilities create a broader energy portfolio that not only includes crude oil and natural gas but also biofuels and other renewable resources.
The 2009 Energy Buyers’ Conference (formerly the Fuel Oil/Energy Buyers’ Conference) will look at these resources and the energy infrastructure – refineries, pipelines, storage, transportation and electricity plants associated with them.
If you are an energy user, buyer, electric power producer, power marketer or developer, refiner, trader, transporter, pipeline distributor, you can not afford to miss this important event. In addition to the animated discussions and presentations, there is a valuable exchange of information via networking sessions at receptions, breakfasts, lunch and golf tournament.
The Conference Committee was able to negotiate our traditional Sunday-Tuesday format beginning with a gala reception on Sunday evening, October 25th. It is our hope that these dates will be more attractive to attendees and to those companies who hold ancillary events outside of the conference.
We look for your support through multiple registrations and sponsorships…see you in Miami Beach!
