Oil and natural gas markets are starting to show signs of recovery, but the impact of the recession differs across regions, and the outlook remains very uncertain. Taking into account this uncertainty, the 2010 Energy Buyers’ Conference will explore the supply and demand and pricing forecasts for these fuels on a global balance. Experts will analyze worldwide trends particularly the strong growth in China, India and the Middle East compared to weaker or flat demand elsewhere, especially in the fragile European economy. In addition, while 900 of the next 1000 U.S. power plants are projected to use natural gas, the roles of alternative fuels and renewable resources continue to grow as electric generators expand their energy portfolios.
